West Div. Offensive Player of the Week
Cumberland freshman Kendall Johnson was voted the Mid-South Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after scoring the winning touchdown in CU's 46-40 victory over Campbellsville University and amassing 210 all-purpose yards in the game, as announced by the league office.

The Nashville McGavock product scored the game-winning touchdown on a three-yard run with just under five minutes to play and set season-highs with 18 carries for 104 yards in the contest.

Britt, Ilias earn silver at TSMS meet
KNOXVILLE -- A pair of Wilson County runners turned in runner-up finishes in their respective races Saturday at the Tennessee State Middle School Cross Country Championships held at Victor Ashe Park.

Aiden Britt, an eighth grader at Tuckers Crossroads, placed second in the boys varsity division with a time of 11:30.63 -- less than three seconds behind the winner, Miles Ally of Nashville's Head Magnet School. Britt competed in a field of 312.
