Keeping glued to the Weather Channel, we have made plans to flee the east coast of Florida if necessary. This will throw a wrench into the plans that I was looking forward to. This will be the second time this year that a hurricane has wrecked my vacation. The first came when Hurricane Hermine came into existence down in the Gulf of Mexico.

CU's Campagne earns statewide honor

TSWA Defensive Player of the Week
Cumberland defensive back Alex Campagne was named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday, posting nine tackles, forcing a fumble, returning another fumble 12 yards and recording two pass breakups in CU's victory over Campbellsville University.

The Crestview, Fla., native blocked the PAT on the Tigers first TD of the game and picked up a fumble, returning it 12 yards in the second quarter.
