BOWLING -- LHS sweeps Mt. Juliet

LEBANON -- Lebanon High's bowling teams swept a pair of matches from visiting Mt. Juliet Thursday, Oct. 27 at Pro Bowl West.
The Blue Devils won 22-5 behind high game scores: Tyler Moore (258, 202, 225) and Jarred Bradshaw (241, 234).
The Lady Blue Devils remain undefeated at 6-0 on the season by downing the Lady Bears 18.5 to 8.5.

MJ Bears roll to region title

Mt. Juliet 49, McGavock 10
DONELSON -- Taking control early, Mt. Juliet rolled to a 49-10 victory at McGavock Thursday night, Oct. 27, wrapping up the Region 3, 6A championship in the process.

The Golden Bears wrapped up the regular season 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the region earning a first round home game in the TSSAA playoffs Nov. 4 against the No. 8 team from Region 4, 6A Bartlett High (3-7).

Last week at Sanders Ferry Park
HENDERSONVILLE -- Wilson Central and Mt. Juliet finished one, two in Thursday's (Oct. 27) Region 5-AAA Cross Country Championships held at Sanders Ferry Park. The Wildcats took first place honors with 29 points as all five runners finished in the top 14.

Mt. Juliet and Henry County tied for second place with 78 points -- both earning team spots in the state meet.
