Defensive Player of the Week
Cumberland sophomore goalkeeper Ashley Kambeitz garnered Mid-South Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors on Monday, posting her ninth shutout of the year in a 2-0 victory over Campbellsville University in the quarterfinals of the Mid-South Conference Championships in Bowling Green, Ky.

The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native posted one save and faced five total shots in the win over Campbellsville, her second victory against the Tigers in the last three weeks.

Two double-doubles for CU standout
Cumberland senior Nicole Bowers was voted Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday, posting a pair of double-doubles in two victories for the Phoenix to open the season.

The Nashville Hillsboro graduate collected 19 points and 19 rebounds in a seven-point win over 21st-ranked Talladega College in the season opener, including 15 points and 11 boards in the second half.
