As part of the 18th annual Granville Country Christmas, the Jackson County community of Granville will host its Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. with WKRN Meteorologist and Mt. Juliet resident Davis Nolan serving as the parade's grand marshal.

Dr. Brad Altman of Aprima, Consultants in Eye Health, in Mt. Juliet recently dropped off a donation of dog and puppy food at the Mt. Juliet Animal Shelter. Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church's annual drive-thru nativity, "Journey to Bethlehem," will be open from 7 until 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16 and Saturday, Dec. 17. The 10 scenes depict the meaning of Christmas, showing the journey of Mary and Joseph as they traveled to Bethlehem and awaited the birth of Jesus. The church is located at 522 Castle Heights Avenue.
