Dr. H. Bert Coble: 1923 - 2017

Dr. H. Bert Coble, age 93 of Lebanon, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his home.

A native of Jackson, Tennessee, he was born August 31, 1923 to the late Herman and Lillie Martin Coble.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Gregory Paul Coble; sister, Eloise Copeland; and step-brother Robert "Bob" Parrish.

Wilson Central offensive coordinator
After seven seasons on the coaching staff at Wilson Central High, former Mt. Juliet High quarterback Zac White is going home.

White, who played under center for former MJHS head coach Dan Winfree, has accepted a spot on Trey Perry's staff and is slated to be the offensive coordinator.

A 2003 MJHS graduate, White will replace Jonathan Parks who recently married and is seeking a coaching position near his new home.
