Schools Director Doing Quite Well

Wilson County Director of Schools Mike Davis is doing quite well and in good spirits following surgery Wednesday, according to Assistant Director Mickey Hall.

Davis is recuperating from a heart attack he suffered last Wednesday, while driving a school vehicle.

“Davis came out of surgery late yesterday afternoon and was doing well last night. He is still in the Critical Care Unit and will be for 48 to 72 hours,” Hall said.

“His family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support.”

Hopefully over the weekend there maybe some indication of when he will be able to leave the hospital, he added.
