Area third through sixth grade students will be competing at the third annual Cumberland Olympic Games on Wednesday, April 30.
The festivities kick off at 9 a.m. in Cumberland University’s Dallas Floyd Gymnasium with a few words from David Griffin of NBC’s “Biggest Loser.”

Middle Tennessee Electric crews will be working to improve residential electric service in Lebanon April 30, which will require outages in the southern part of the city.
The scheduled work will require about 175 residences to be without power, including the Lebanon Municipal Airport. The scheduled times for the outages are set to begin at 1 p.m. and last until approximately 5 p.m.

Redi-Air has officially taken over as the fixed based operator for the Lebanon Municipal Airport.
The company, owned by Sonny Belew and Kerry Bay, with Myron Lasater as vice president for operations, purchased Middle Tennessee Aviation as of April 3 and is now operating the airport.
