MT. JULIET -- A memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 14 at the Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mrs. Pischke, 69, of Mt. Juliet.
Owner of Joy’s Kitchen in LaVergne, she died January 8, 2009. Born in Kingston, she travelled the United States as a courier.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 p.m. until the service. A memorial service will be held in Kingston at a later date.
Survivors include: children Renee (Bill) McMurray, Tanya (Terry) Crawford and Jude (Shawna) Pischke; sisters Nelda Toler and Gayle Fish; grandchildren Ashley Bean, Justin Crawford, Paige Crawford, Mary Pischke and Hunter Pischke; and great-granddaughter Seria Bean.
She is preceded in death by children Alma Paige and Hugh Doyle Martin; and fiancé Jerry Smith.
Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet is in charge of arrangements.
LEBANON -- Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 15 at the Wilson County Funeral Home for Mrs. Patterson of Lebanon. She died Jan. 9, 2009 at University Medical Center.
The family will receive friends 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: husband William Patterson; children Jesse Gunn III, Michael J. (Rebecca) Patterson, Stacy (Joseph) Rohtert and Kelly Gunn.
She is preceded in death by her mother Ruby Norris. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Alive Hospice of Wilson County or the American Cancer Society.

Casey Nunley fired in 20 points as Lebanon dusted Riverdale 84-61 Tuesday at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium. The win upped the Blue Devil record to 9-5 / 3-1 in District 7AAA while the Warriors slipped 8-8 / 2-3.
LHS trailed 8-2 early, then went on a 17-2 run in the second quarter -- taking a 46-31 lead at intermission. Robert Crudup added 18 points and Xavier Smith 11.
The Devilettes fell to 5-8 overall / 2-3 in the district as No. 8 Riverdale won 55-38 in the opener.
Icelyn Elie was brilliant in the loss, scoring 20 points and pulling down 15 rebounds. She was the only Devilette in double figures. Shacobia Barbee scored 18 for Riverdale (15-3).
"Turnovers definitely got us in trouble tonight," Lebanon coach Ashley Johnson said. "We had trouble getting beyond the half-court line, and we have to find a way to score in the half-court."
LHS will play at Murfreesboro Siegel Friday, Jan. 16.
CENTRAL SWEEPS HENDERSONVILLE -- No. 5-ranked Wilson Central improved to 14-3 overall / 3-0 in District 9AAA Tuesday with a 60-42 win at Hendersonville High.
Senior guard Jessyca Christopher knocked down four 3-pointers as she and Iesha Hassell each finished with 12 points for the winners. Kelsey McGee also reached double figures with 10. Jasmine Hassell added eight.
The Wildcats shut down the Commandos in a 50-35 victory in Tuesday’s nightcap.
Central improved to 7-5 / 2-1 in the league. Arcavius McMurray had 10 for the Wildcats while Kelten Stewart had nine points and Austin Auld had eight.
Central will host Mt. Juliet High Friday in a 6:30 p.m. doubleheader.
WATERTOWN -- The Purple Tigers broke a seven game losing streak Tuesday night with a 58-44 victory over visiting Merrol Hyde. Keandre Bates had 18 and Kenny Rowland 11 for Watertown.
The Purple Tigers, now 8-9 on the season, will host Gordonsville Friday night.
Megan Bryan knocked down four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points as the Tigerettes scored a 61-47 win over Merrol Hyde in Tuesday’s opener. Watertown improved to 9-8 overall / 3-3 in District 8A.
Miaushia Thompson added 11 while Morgan Gartner and JoBeth Davenport chipped in with seven each.
