Wilson Bank & Trust hosts 14th Annual Spring Meet Car Show

Wilson Bank & Trust will host its 14th annual Antique Car Show Spring
Meet at the 1476 North Mt. Juliet Road office on Sunday, May 3. 

With 41 classifications, this year’s event is sure to be an exciting one. Registration will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and awards will be presented at 3 p.m. The first 100 cars will receive a special dash plaque. The meet will also feature a flea market with automobile-related merchandise as well as music, concessions and inflatables for children of all ages, so the entire family can join the fun.

Wilson jobless numbers rise

Wilson County’s unemployment rate for March rose to 8.8 percent, up 0.3 percent from the February figure of 8.5.

The unemployment rates for all 95 counties for March were released Thursday by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

The labor force in Wilson County for March stood at 56,680 with 51,670 employed. That left 5,010 unemployed.
