Dean Georgeadis Jr., 52
MT. JULIET -- A visitation for family and friends will be held 1-3 p.m. Friday, July 15 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Georgeadis, 52, of Mt. Juliet. A senior auditor with the State of Tennessee / Insurance Division, Mr. Georgeadis died Sunday, July 10, 2011.
He graduated from Charles Woodward High School, Bethesda, MD and the University of Maryland earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Accounting Major.
Passing the CPA bar exam, he went to work at the prestigious Kiplinger organization headquarters in Washington, D.C. as an accountant in the Treasurer’s Office.
Survivors include: children Alexandra and Tyler Georgeadis, both of Mt. Juliet; parents Deane and Martha George-Adis of Grand Junction, CO; siblings Pamela Hearn of Frederick, MD and Greg (Anne Vanderlinden) George-Adis of Portland, OR; nephews Jason (Jessica) Hearn of Hagerstown, MD; Captain Jon (Elizabeth) Hearn of Salisbury, NC; Michael Hearn of Smithburg, MD and Matthew Hearn of Frederick, MD.
Memorial contributions may be made to an educational memorial fund for Alexandra and Tyler Georgeadis to be established at Regions Bank in the near future.

Dennis Patrick Collins, 56
LEBANON -- A funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday July 16 at the St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church for Mr. Collins, 56, of Lebanon.
Employed with Nissan, he passed away Saturday July 9, 2011 at his residence.
The family will receive friends at the church from 8 a.m. until funeral mass.
Father Michael O’Bryan will conduct the services with Father Zacharias Payikat assisting.
Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: parents Joseph D. and Jo Ann S. Collins of Lebanon; daughter Brook Collins (Keith) Barrow of Sanford N.C.; grandsons Caleb Barrow, Joshua Barrow, Samuel Barrow and Luke Barrow; siblings Kevin J. Collins, Brian T. Collins, Terrence C. Collins, Mark F. Collins, Erin M. Collins (Steve) Stanchina and Kelly Ann (Richard) Eller; nieces and nephews Devan K. Eller, Shea Eller, Keefe Eller, Wesley Collins, Travis Collins, Colton Collins and Nolan Collins.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions may be made in Mr. Collins' memory to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church Building Fund, 300 South Tarver Ave. Lebanon, 37087.

John Mack Draper, 65
LEBANON -- A private graveside funeral service was held Thursday morning, July 14 at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens for Mr. Draper, 65, of Lebanon.
A native of Wilson County, he died Monday, July 11, 2011.
He was the son of the late James Darwin Draper Sr. and Patricia "Patty" Mulherin Draper.
Memorial donations may be made to New Leash on Life, 213 Jim Draper Blvd., Lebanon 37087.

Vera Snider Etheridge, 95
LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, July 14, 2011 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mrs. Etheridge, 95, of Lebanon.
Born August 1, 1915, in the Norene Community, she died July 12, 2011 at Quality Care Nursing Home.
The daughter of the late Henry Thomas Snider and Ella May Frye Snider, Mrs. Etheridge was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a member of the Taylorsville Home Demonstration Club for many years and volunteered at University Medical Center until her health failed.
Services were conducted by Rev. Donald Owens and Rev. W. D. Thomason. Interment was in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: Wendell (Faye) Ethridge of Old Hickory and Gary (Sandra) Ethridge of Lebanon; grandchildren Wendy Dawn (Jim) Camacho, Cindi Ray Moore, Tara Whitney Ethridge, Mickey Ethridge, Gary Lee Ethridge, Patti Scott, Pamela Purcell; nine great-grandchildren; along with special friend Barbara Dillard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Ethridge; grandson Scott Ethridge; sisters Nora Bentley and Mary Jewell; brothers Russell and Carlyle Snider.
Pallbearers: Rick Jacobs, Ray Howell, Johnny Davenport, Jim Camacho, David Owens, Mickey Ethridge. Honorary: UMC Volunteers, Esther Sunday School Class of Immanuel Baptist Church, Other Lenning, Boone Cummings, Carl Howard and Barbara Dillard.

CU offers PSLs for 2011 football


LEBANON -- Cumberland University Director of Athletics Ron Pavan announced new season and single-game ticket prices for the 2011 football campaign this week. New bleachers and press box facilities will be in place for the home opener on September 17 against Kentucky Christian, with delivery and construction set for the month of August.

The new bleachers will feature 187 seats in front of the press box, with 100 chairback seats in the section. Chairback season tickets will cost $200 per seat in 2011, with half of the fee serving as a personal seat license for future use.

The season ticket price will reduce to $100 per seat for the 2012 campaign.

General admission season tickets may be purchased for $30. General admission prices for the 2011 season will increase to $10 per game, with $8 tickets for senior citizens. Children 10 and under are admitted free for all Cumberland athletic events.

A season pass may also be purchased for $150, allowing fans general admission to all CU home events. Fans may purchase season tickets or a season pass by calling Jo Jo Freeman at 615-548-1350. Credit cards will be accepted over the phone for payment.

The new bleacher structure is set to arrive August 9 with the press box understructure and press box building thereafter. With good weather the entire project should be finished by the end of August.
