County's Public Works panel to meet
Wilson County Commission's Public Works Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, in the commission courtroom, Wilson County Courthouse, Lebanon.
Lebanon planners set special meeting

Lebanon Planning Commission will have a special called meeting at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, in the Town Meeting Hall, City of Lebanon Administration Building at Castle Heights.

Planners will consider a request for rezoning specific plan The Village at Bel Air Providence, 136.6 acres, which is in Ward 4.

Lady 'Cats win Sonic Blast

FRANKLIN -- Wilson Central won Franklin High School's Sonic Blast Tournnament Saturday at A-Game Sports, downing Bartlett 3-0 in the championship game.

Game scores: 25-17, 24-26 and 15-13.

The Lady Wildcats of Coach Tammy Serbin went 6-1 in tournament play, losing a pool play game to St. Marys 2-0.

Wilson Central improved to 26-11 on the season and will play at Friendship Christian today at 5 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. Tuesday District 9AAA match at Hendersonville High.
