Clarence Edward Hill, 79

Funeral services were held Saturday morning, June 16 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Hill, 79, of Watertown. A welding inspector, Mr. Hill died June 14, 2012 at The Pavilion in Lebanon.

Born in Rutherford County, Mr. Hill was a US Army veteran, having served in the Korean War.

Services were conducted by Bro. Freddie Savage and Bro. Kenneth Bowen. Burial was at the Jennings Cemetery.

Survivors include: wife Gail Mackay Hill of Watertown and children: Tim (Debbie) Hill of Lebanon, Don Lawrence of Donelson, Lou Anne (Mark) Christian of Watertown, Greg Hill of Pleasant Shade, Melanie (Michael) Granstaff of Watertown and Alan Hill of Lebanon.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; siblings Vince (Melba) Hill of Watertown and Viola Davenport of Strawberry Plains; sisters-in-law Corinne Hill and Jessie Lee Vanatta as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Tina Clayborn Hill, grandson Eric Christian, sister Gertie McGee and brothers Bob and Lendon Hill and Buford Vanatta.

Corine Tyner Turner, 81

Mrs. Turner, 81, passed away at her residence Friday, June 15, 2012.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Cleo Tyner & Maggie Hopkins Rigsby.

Survived by husband of 65 years George Allen Turner; daughters, Connie (Jim) Owens & Sheila K. (Scott E.) Reed; grandchildren, Tara Austin, Melissa (Scott) Sewell, & Scott A. (Jennifer) Reed; great grandchildren, John Tyler Sewell & Graham William Reed; sisters, Merna (Kenneth) Grigsby & Bonnie (Gene) Jackson; nieces, Debbie (Bruce) Brader, & Myra (Bill) Massey; nephew, Ken (Mary) Grigsby

Mrs. Turner was a member of Lebanons First United Methodist Church and a retired social services employee with the State of Missouri. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, June 17 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

The family request contributions may be made in Mrs. Turners memory to the Alzheimers Association.

Professional services provided locally by Lebanon's Partlow Funeral Chapel.

Faith Madeline Partee, 70

Faith Partee passed away on June 14, 2012 at age 70.

The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon Monday, June 18from 4 p.m. until the service. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Randy Stoecker, is 6 p.m. Monday, June 18.

Survivors include husband Charles Partee; children Lyle Ross Tipton, Leigh Ann (Sean) Sweeney, Tina (Joseph) Ditta; siblings Melody Ramsay, Beth Givens, J. Lynn Givens, Ginnie Givens, Penny Barnes and Albert Givens; and grandchildren Samantha Leigh, Justin Sweeney, Madison Sweeney, Case Ditta and Braedan Ditta.

She is preceded in death by father of her children Charles William Leigh, daughter Melody Frazier, and parents Albert and Peggy Givens.

Karin Kay Edgar Fowler, 70

Karin Fowler passed away on June 14, 2012 at age 70. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, June 17, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Interment was private.

Survivors include husband Tony Fowler; children: Katrina Renee Fowler (Terry) Hancock, Timothy Todd Fowler, Matthew Cato Blu (Christy) Fowler, Jenny Kay Fowler (Brian) Rumsey, and Kathryn June Fowler (Adam) Dailey; and grandchildren: Jacqueline Renee, Janelle Kay, Michael Joseph, Jacob Andrew, Jared Thomas, Emily Todd, Danielle Cody, Austin, Asia, Matthew, Hailey, Drew Jacobson, Mason Jacobson, Kobe Jacobson, and McKayla Kay.

Lonnie Anthony Leftrick, 52

Lonnie Leftrick passed away on June 13, 2012 at age 52.

The chapel service, conducted by Reverend Danny Sellars, was held Sunday afternoon, June 17, 2012 at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon.

Survivors include two children: Lonnie A. Leftrick and Tabitha Jordynl; father: Paul (Betty) Leftrick; siblings: Michael (Kathy) Leftrick, Kenny (Laura) Leftrick, Dewona Mason, Vickie DeLon; 4 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by mother Helen Leftrick and son Matthew Leftrick.

Ralph Martin Foster, 63

Funeral services were conducted Monday morning, June 18 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Foster, 63, of Mt. Juliet. Interment with military honors followed at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

A veteran of the U.S. Army serving during Vietnam and an employee of DuPont for over 10 years, he died Thursday, June 14, 2012.

Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his parents, Grills and Ruby Pearl Bates Foster. Survivors include: daughter Carrie Tripp, brother Ronnie Foster, grandson Evan (due in September 2012) also with nieces and nephew Rhonda, Lisa, April and Ronnie, Jr.

Robert Milton Beebe, 81

Bob Beebe passed away on June 13, 2012 at age 81.

A memorial service, conducted by Pastor David Hesson, is set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 20 at First United Methodist Church in Lebanon.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Berthadel Moses Beebe; children Kimble Beebe, Robin (David) Mausbach, Tracy (Tom) Allen and Tina (Ed) Ruth; sisters Wanda Myers and Lillian Beebe; 5 grandchildren; andeight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents Milton and Gladys Eaton Beebe.

Suspect apologizes, then robs market

Lebanon Police Department is searching for the suspect in a Sunday night armed robbery reported at a local convenience store, who reportedly apologized to the store clerk before taking money from the cash register.

Lebanon Police Chief Scott Bowen said at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers Brandon Payne and Sgt. Andrew Haskins responded to a call of an armed robbery at Daniels Market, located at 1037 Sparta Pike.

Upon arrival, the store clerk stated a white male wearing a grey t-shirt, knee-length cut-off jean shorts and no shoes, latex gloves and a mask over his face entered the store with possibly a shotgun. The clerk told police the suspect apologized to her and demanded that she open the cash register.

Worth Bulldogs win 16U title

The Lebanon-based 16U Worth Bulldogs won the Silver Division East Cobb / Triple Crown "Battle of the South Wood Bat" Championship on Sunday and an automatic birth to the Triple Crown World Series later this year in Richmond VA.

Team WORTH went 2-1 in pool play with wins over East Cobb GA Patriots and Lyman SC - Upstate Mavericks. WORTH then went 4-0 in the elimination round (12-2 vs East Cobb Indians and 6-2 over Team Gwinnett GA) and walkoff wins in both the semifinals, 3-2 over Team Gwinnett GA) and also in the finals -- 2-1 over Nelson Baseball School of Acworth GA.
