The Mt. Juliet's annual Independence Day fireworks display has been moved to tonight (Friday, July 5) at 9 p.m. after soggy weather washed out the scheduled celebration July 4.
City of Lebanon's July 4 fireworks display at the Jame E. Ward Ag Center was also postponed with an eye toward moving the event to Wednesday, Sept. 11 -- Patriot's Day.
The Sept. 11 date was the closest "patriotic event" to Independence Day and will feature all the usual music and food activites associated with the July 4 celebration.
Watertown went ahead with its annual Squirtgun Parade on a rainy July 4, but put the fireworks display on hold for the time being.

Terrace Dewayne Shaw, 22, was captured at approximately 3 p.m. at 2130 Burns Street in Nashville.
Both Shaw and his co-defendant, Aderius Bingham, were taken into custody. Shaw was wanted by Lebanon Police Department for especially aggravated robbery.
