Arrangements incomplete for Davis, 15

Authorities have identified a body recovered from the Cumberland River Saturday morning as that of James W. Davis, 15, of Lebanon. The teenwent missing last Sunday afternoon after he and two friends jumped from a bluff near Hunters Point Bridge into the river.

Wilson County Sheriff Robert Bryan explained earlier that although the two friends tried to assist Davis when they saw him struggling in the water, the river current was just too strong.

Russell Lee service is Sunday

Funeral services are planned for Sunday afternoon, July 28 at the Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro for Mr. Russell Lee, Commissioner of Finance for the City of Lebanon for the past six years.

Mr. Lee, 65 and a native of Nashville, passed away Saturday morning, July 20 following an extended battle with cancer.

The family will receive friends Sunday between the hours of 2-4 p.m. with services to follow.
