Four charged in Polo store burglary

Lebanon Police arrested four people in connection with a burglary at the Polo store located at the Lebanon Premium Outlets shopping center on Sunday.

Police responded to an alarm call at approximately 3:44 a.m., on Sunday, Aug. 25, at the store, according to a news release from the Lebanon Police Department.

Motorcycle, two-car wreck kills one

A Mt. Juliet man driving a motorcycle was killed in an accident involving two other vehicles Saturday night on Highway 109.

The victim was identified as Jesse J. Gross, 22, of Mt. Juliet.

The accident occurred about 8:18 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, on Hwy. 109 near Stewart Road.

Trooper John Welker of the Tennessee Highway Patrol said in his report that a 1990 Ford Mustang driven by William K. Clemmons Jr., 47, of Mt. Juliet, was stopped in the northbound lanes on Hwy. 109 at Stewart Lane, while a 2008 Kia Rio driven by Michelle A. Griffin, 46, of Antioch, was headed southbound on the roadway.

Person of interest sought in stabbing

Lebanon Police are searching for a person of interest in connection with a stabbing that occurred about 2:30 a.m., Monday.

The incident happened at #2 Head Homes, Lebanon Police Chief Scott Bowen said in a news release.
