There will be a gathering for family and friends of Donna Stinson at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon 10-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6. Mrs. Stinson, 73 of Lebanon died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at University Medical Center.

Judy Ann Reynolds, 67

Funeral services will be conducted 12 Noon Saturday, Dec. 7 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Reynolds, 67, of Mt. Juliet.  She died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013.

Another lawsuit filed against Setterlund, BOE

Jill Micco, a 23-year veteran of the Wilson County School System whose position was eliminated by the director of schools in September, is the second individual to file a wrongful termination lawsuit against Director of Schools Dr. Tim Setterlund and the Board of Education.

Friday night basketball canceled

An impending winter storm has effectively pulled the plug on two games involving Wilson County’s largest public high schools.  A directive was sent out from the Wilson County School System's Central Office Thursday morning to Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, Wilson Central and Watertown High Schools canceling all after school activities on Friday, Dec. 6 due to concerns over an expected Arctic blast Friday.
