This is the first year Music City Honor Flight will host the event. They are joined by two co-hosts, the Gallatin Noon Rotary Club and the City of Mt. Juliet.
Other Nashville area businesses that have donated their services include: Americas Motor Sports, Hermitage Home Depot, Boscos Restaurant, Youthmerch and Moonlight Sound Company.
Music City Honor Flight honors World War II veterans from the five military branches with free trips to Washington, D.C. to visit the World War II Memorial created in 2004, some 59 years after the end of the war. Each trip, twice yearly, accommodates 103 World War II Veterans from Middle Tennessee at no charge to the veteran. A group that included Wilson Countians traveled to Washington and back to Middle Tennessee on Tuesday, May 8.
