A suspect has been arrested in connection with the Monday afternoon robbery of La Hispana market on South Maple.

Lebanon Police responded to a burglary call Monday night and made contact with Jose Hernandez, 41, of 814 Wildwood Ave., Lebanon. Officers knew that Hernandez had an outstanding warrant for aggravated robbery. He was arrested and the warrant was served.

Hernandez was on probation from an incident in May where he was found guilty of reckless endangerment after shooting a pistol on South Greenwood near Leeville Pike. Since that time, Hernandez has also been charged with misdemeanor drug possession.

He remains in the Wilson County Jail, charged with Aggravated Robbery. His bond was set at $50,000, and he is to appear in court on July 17.
