Southern Bank of Tennessee officials are pleased to announce the opening of their new Lebanon branch.

The full-service branch is designed with the customer in mind, a spokesperson said. It boasts one of the most convenient locations in Lebanon, just one block east of Hartmann Drive located at 1213 West Main Street.

According to David Major, chairman and chief executive officer, “We are extremely pleased to offer our Lebanon community personalized customer service that provides the personal touch our banking customers deserve. The new Lebanon location delivers exceptional commercial and private banking services to new and existing customers. The veteran team includes Allen Henson, David Penuel and Laura Taylor who know this market very well. They each bring tremendous expertise and knowledge and are dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our customers.”

The community is invited to a weeklong open house celebration that began Monday, Feb. 24, and runs through Friday, Feb. 28, with the official ribbon cutting ceremony to be held at noon on Feb. 25.

The celebration offers those attending a chance to win prizes. According to branch manager, Allen Henson, “The Southern Bank Celebration Party is ours, but the presents are for our customers! We are excited to be giving away ‘Your Dream Vacation’ to one lucky winner, plus daily prizes, including free lock boxes. Also, each day during our celebration call or stop by for unbelievable daily rate specials that you don’t want to miss.”

Southern Bank of Tennessee is headquartered in Mt. Juliet. For more information on the bank and its services, contact Henson at 444-3700.
