MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at Bond Memorial Chapel for Ms. Gillen, 67, of Madison.
Known as "Bobbi" to her family and friends, she died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 of endometrial cancer.
The daughter of the late Joe and Florence Boyer Gillen, she was a nurses' aide and home health aide for many years.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services Friday at Bond Memorial Chapel.
Survivors include: daughter Christina (Chad) Layman of Hermitage; brothers Cecil Gillen of Murdock, KS and Bill Gillen of Wichita, KS; nieces Brenda Becker and Amber Gillen Parisho; nephew Alan Dean of Kansas; great-niece Crystal Becker and beloved Dashund Roscoe.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Gillen is preceded in death by her brothers Joe “Bo”, Tom, Jim and John, who died in infancy and sisters, Rosella “Rosie”, Theresa and Mary Frances.
Memorials may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center or the Madison Humane Society.
