LEBANON – A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2, at 10 a.m. at the Conatser Cemetery in Lebanon for Mr. Conatser, 81, of Lebanon.
Mr. Conatser passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2011, he owned an operated Conatser’s Service Station on Coles Ferry Pike for 45 years.
Mr. Conatser was a long time member and former deacon of Highland Heights Church of Christ. He was a board member of Friendship Christian School, Civitan Club member, and belonged to the Wilson County Sportsman’s Club.
An avid fisherman, Mr. Conatser enjoyed spending time at his family’s cabin on Center Hill Lake, and friends and family always enjoyed Pop’s Fish Fry. He was a 1948 graduate of Lebanon High School.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Mary Davis Conatser.
Family will receive friends at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon on Friday, July 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will be officiated by Brother Myron Keith and Brother Barry Keene.
Survivors include: his wife of 63 years, Dovie Jean Jenkins Conatser; his sister, Jewell Conatser Beal of Lebanon; his son, Michael A. Conatser and daughter-in-law Kathy Conatser; his daughter, Pat Conatser of Lebanon; and his daughter Cindy Eatherly and son-in-law Jerry Eatherly of Lebanon; grandchildren, Andy Conatser, Judd Conatser and wife, Zack Conatser, Eddie Doss Eatherly, and Rachel Eatherly; great grandson Jack Conatser, and by extended family and close friends of whom he loved.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Conatser Cemetery, c/o Larry Conatser.
