Black offering tickets to Trump's inauguration

Congressman Diane Black has formally invited Tennesseans to attend the 58th Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 20, 2017.

Congressional offices receive a limited number of tickets to each inauguration, which are offered freely to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Though Congressional offices do not yet know what their ticket allotment will be, Black is accepting requests now at Requests must be received by Wednesday, Nov. 30.

"Like so many Tennesseans, I am eagerly awaiting the inauguration of President-elect Trump. This promises to be a historic and exciting event, and my office is pleased to invite constituents to attend," Black said. "We have a limited number of standing-area tickets that we will be distributing on a first-come, first-served basis. I hope 6th District residents will contact our office and make plans to join us in celebrating this momentous day."

When e-mailing requests to, residents should include their full name, e-mail address, telephone number, mailing address and the number of tickets requested. The submission of a request does not guarantee a ticket.
