Congressman Diane Black has formally invited Tennesseans to attend the 58th Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 20, 2017.
Congressional offices receive a limited number of tickets to each inauguration, which are offered freely to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Though Congressional offices do not yet know what their ticket allotment will be, Black is accepting requests now at TN06.TicketRequests@mail.house.gov. Requests must be received by Wednesday, Nov. 30.
"Like so many Tennesseans, I am eagerly awaiting the inauguration of President-elect Trump. This promises to be a historic and exciting event, and my office is pleased to invite constituents to attend," Black said. "We have a limited number of standing-area tickets that we will be distributing on a first-come, first-served basis. I hope 6th District residents will contact our office and make plans to join us in celebrating this momentous day."
When e-mailing requests to TN06.TicketRequests@mail.house.gov, residents should include their full name, e-mail address, telephone number, mailing address and the number of tickets requested. The submission of a request does not guarantee a ticket.
