LHS tops Glencliff 72-48 Tuesday --
SPARTA -- Lebanon's Blue Devils defeated Glencliff 72-48 Tuesday afternoon in the third place game of the seventh annual Sonic Shoot-Out at White County High's Roy Sewell Gymnasium.
KeShawn Abston led the way with 21 points, including three 3-pointers, as Coach Jim McDowell's club improved to 10-4 on the season.
Donovan Blair added 16 and Cameron Oliver 12. Drake Allen had eight and Paul Tribble seven.
Abston and Allen were named to the all-tournament team.
LHS will host District 9-AAA rival Station Camp Saturday in a 6:30 p.m. doubleheader. All Lebanon High students will be admitted free of charge with their student ID card.
MBA 63, Lebanon 62
SPARTA -- LHS slipped to 9-4 on the season following Monday's 63-62 loss to Montgomery Bell Academy in the tournament's second round.
Guard Parker Bryan calmly hit two free throws with 15 seconds left in regulation to lift the Big Red to the win.
Kobe Neuble led the Blue devils with 19 points off the bench while Drake Allen knocked down three 3-pointers and finished with 17. KeShawn Abston and Tay Jackson each had 11 points.
Lebanon 81, Pickett Co. 54
SPARTA -- Lebanon jumped out to an early 20-5 lead and cruised in for an 81-54 win over Pickett County to open tournament play Saturday.
Three Blue Devils reached double figures as Abston had 20, Allen 14 and Jackson 13.
Eric Stovall chipped in with eight points, Neuble had seven while Noah Mulaski and Donovan Blair had five each.
Devilettes place fourth in Shoot-Out
SPARTA -- Lebanon's girls finished fourth in the seventh annual Sonic Shoot-Out following Tuesday afternoon's 48-37 loss to Heritage High School from Maryville.
The Devilettes fell to 4-10 on the season with the loss, despite 15 points from all-tournament pick Morgan Bruce. Kendra Brown chipped in with nine and Jameka Dowell added five.
(girls) Clarkrange 67, Lebanon 32
SPARTA -- Lebanon dropped to 4-9 on the season following Monday afternoon's 67-32 loss to Class A power Clarkrange in the Sonic Shoot-Out, hosted by White County High. Morgan Bruce led Lebanon with 12 points -- including three 3-pointers.

SPARTA -- Lebanon held on for a 63-61 victory over the Macon County Saturday in the Sonic Shoot-Out. LHS led 34-25 at intermission, but withstood a furious second half comeback effort by the Lady Tigers.
Devilette Morgan Bruce exploded for 26 points to lead all scorers.
Kendra Brown drained two free throws with 2.4 second left in regulation for the win. Brown added 13 while Jameka Dowell chipped in with nine points.
