The Wilson County School Board met Friday morning to discuss several budget possibilities - including the cost of the new traffic plan at Lebanon High School.

Under the new plan, which will be completed by Sunday, Blue Devil Drive will allow two lanes into the school and one lane out to help alleviate traffic stacked on South Hartmann Drive on weekday mornings.

According to Deputy Mickey Hall, the restriping and paving improvements to Blue Devil Drive will cost an estimated $35,000. However, board members are currently discussing plans to request $8,500 of the restriping fee from the city of Lebanon.

Schools Director Dr. Tim Setterlund said they will also be working with the architect who designed and approved the original plan to see if they will "work with us and help with some of that expense."
