Providence Commons is not very busy right now. The businesses were trying to pull something together as soon as possible and Halloween is a great time, Locklear said. Everybody is getting really excited. We are hoping that it will get to be an annual event.
Treats will be available at all booths, and McDonalds Hamburglar will be on hand, also. Fadds Entertainment and Diamond Academy of Dance will be performing.
The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. and is free to the public. It is sponsored by Publix, Summit Walk-In Clinic, Angel Stop and Play, Holiday Inn Express, Southeastern Dental, Subway, Mt. Juliet/West Wilson County Chamber of Commerce, Precision Eye Care, Wilson Bank & Trust, Peachwave Yogurt, First Freedom Bank, Diamond Academy of Dance, Jonathans Grille, McDonalds, The Party Zone, Farm Bureau, Nails 1st and Fadds Entertainment.
Mt. Juliet Animal Shelter will also be bringing some of their animals to the event that are available for adoption.
