Lebanon plays Friday at 7:30 p.m. -
Charles Eskew Field in the Baird Park Complex will host the 13 year-old Babe Ruth Baseball state tournament beginning Friday, July 14.
Games will continue Saturday and Sunday in the four-team, double-elimination tournament.
The tournament opens Friday at 5 p.m. as West Nashville takes on Marshall County.
Opening ceremonies, including the introduction of all four teams, will be held at the conclusion of the 5 p.m. contest.
Host Lebanon will take on Lawrence County in Friday's 7:30 p.m. game.
Friday's losers will meet in a 9 a.m. Saturday elimination game, followed by Friday's winners playing Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
The finals of the losers bracket is slated for 2 p.m. Saturday.
The first game of the state championship is set for 9 a.m. Sunday, with the "if necessary" game to follow at 11:30 a.m.
Admission is $6 per person with chidren age 12 and under admitted free of charge.
The Lebanon Lions Club Babe Ruth League, in cooperation with the City of Lebanon's Parks & Recreation Department, is hosting the tournament.
Lebanon's 13 year-old all-stars include: Bryson Underwood, Morris Dodson, Dillon Johnson, Ian Fryer, Nick Maggert, Dalton Warren, Dalton Bowes, Kier Priest, Corey Yancy, Will Weir, Zach Bingham, Logan Smith, Landon Greenwood and Grahm Campbell.
The 13's are coached by Mike Underwood, Shane Bingham and Glenn Johnson.
