Lebanon Police are seeking information on a robbery that took place Tuesday morning at the Sunglass Hut at Prime Outlet Mall when investigators say a thief made off with nearly 250 pairs of sunglasses valued at $16,600.

According to LPD Public Information Officer PJ Hardy, officers responded to an alarm call at the store at 6 a.m. Tuesday. Upon arrival, they noticed a glass pane broken out of the storefront. Several pairs of sunglasses on the floor, and many appeared missing from the cases. When the store's manager arrived, a quick inventory revealed the extent of the crime.

Surveillance footage shows a suspect breaking the glass, entering the store and filling up a plastic tote with sunglasses, Hardy said. The suspect was wearing blue pants, a dark-colored hoodie, tan gloves and possibly a mask.

Anyone with information on the crime is encouraged to contact the LPD at (615) 453-4345.
