Pitching depth will be at a premium as teams will compete in pool play through Tuesday, followed by a double-elimination tournament among the top squads from each pool. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, July 21 at Veterans Field.

"All told, we're looking at 96 pool play games in four days," said tournament director Johnny Davenport. "The economic impact on our restaurants and hotels is amazing."

A homerun hitting contest, dizzy bat race for coaches and a spectacular fireworks display are on tap for Monday, July 16 at Veterans Field.

Admission is $7 per person for an entire day of games. A tournament pass is just $30.
