MT. JULIET - Two insurance business employees had an unexpected visitor by way of a car crashing through their business front on Lebanon Road just after noon on Wednesday.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, said Mt. Juliet Police Lt. Tyler Chandler.
According to Chandler, around 12:35 p.m. Wednesday, a car crashed into the front of Street Light Insurance at 11888 Lebanon Road after the driver was cut off by another car.
"The male driver was cut off and veered into a parking lot and then into the building," Chandler said.
Chandler said the person who pulled in front of the driver who ran into the building "stayed on the scene," so "we could piece together what happened."
"That's virtually unheard of, and we appreciate them doing that," Chandler said.
The lieutenant said there were two people in the insurance office, the agent and a broker. They were unharmed. The accident is still under investigation.
