Carolyn Carr Daniel, age 73 of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Aug. 10, 2016 after a heroic battle with cancer.
Carolyn was a native of Knoxville, TN. She graduated from Knoxville East High School and earned a B.S. Degree from the University of Tennessee. Carolyn went on to earn a Masters Degree from George Peabody College in Nashville.
She served as the head Librarian at McGavock High School for 31 years and was active in the American Library Association, serving in several local and national offices. Her personal love was Beta Sigma Phi. She served the local chapter in several positions. Carolyn was an active member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church. She loved tennis, UT football, traveling and craft work.
Carolyn was the daughter of the late, James M. and Dot Carr.
She is survived by husband of 51 years, Bob Daniel; brothers, Bobby (Linda) Carr and Jim (Donna) Carr.
Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2016 at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 85 Fairway Drive, Nashville, TN with Rev. Vicki Burgess officiating.

Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Bond Memorial Chapel and one hour prior to service time Monday at the church.
