Joseph C. Hendry II

The trial for Joseph C. Hendry II, the teen arrested in connection with the 2015 shooting death of 13-year-old Insatiable C'Asia Patton, has been set for the week of May 16th by Judge Brody Kane.

A representative from Kane's office confirmed news that jurors will be pulled from Smith County for the upcoming trial in Wilson County.

Patton, who was a seventh grader at Winfree Bryant Middle School, died Jan. 8, 2015 as result of injuries from a Jan. 5th drive-by shooting into the home of her grandmother.

U.S. Marshals arrested Hendry at a hotel in nearby Brentwood on Tuesday, Jan. 20, of the same year.

Michael VanHook, who served as interim Lebanon Police Chief, issued a statement at the time that investigators had done an outstanding job working on the case.

Hendry was booked on charge of criminal homicide.
