NASHVILLE -- Cathy Jane Hickman Yearwood, 58, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday evening, March 16, 2011 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
She most recently resided with her sister Phyllis Crabtree in Lebanon during her battle with cancer.
Mrs. Yearwood was a member of the Sixth Avenue Church of God in Lenoir City, and in recent years attended the Church of God Worship & Ministry Center in Lebanon.
Cathy enjoyed crafts and birds, and her pet parrot Dundee, as well as the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center. She attended Lenoir City High School.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, and the funeral Saturday in Lenoir City.
Survivors include: sister Phyllis Crabtree (Johnny) of Lebanon and brother Kenneth Hickman (Anna Lou) of Lenoir City; daughters Aimee Sexton (David) and Bekkah Campbell (Bryan) -- all of Lenoir City, grandson Kainan, niece Sue Siens (Tim) of Lebanon, nephew Michael Hickman and niece Jill Hickman -- both of Lenoir City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Irene (Jenkins) Hickman, brother Charles Hickman, sister Barbara Jean Hickman and her husband Carl Yearwood.
The family gratefully acknowledges the many kindnesses of friends, medical caretakers, Pastor Gordon Lee and wife Colleen, and church members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sherry’s Run and the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center in the name of Cathy Yearwood.
