Lebanon's Cedarcroft Home Inc. is taking part in The Big Payback, a region-wide, 24-hour online giving event created to help Middle Tennessee nonprofits raise funds vital to continue their work and directly improve the community around them.
Sponsored by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, the charitable event kicks off at 12 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5 and runs for 24 hours. Once the clock starts, anyone can visit TheBigPayback.org to make donations to Cedarcroft Home Inc. and other participating nonprofits, including schools and religious institutions that serve the 40 counties of Middle Tennessee. Gifts from the public will be boosted with funds from sponsors of The Big Payback. Cedarcroft Home Inc. will vie for financial incentives and additional prizes through the online leaderboard, which will track donations in real time.
Cedarcroft Home Inc. is a nonprofit facility dedicated to the care and welfare of the mentally handicapped, disadvantaged and homeless men. Established in 1996 and licensed with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health, Cedarcroft strives to meet all state and local regulations to provide the safest environment for its residents.
