The Lebanon-Wilson Chamber of Commerce is preparing for their annual St. Patrick's Day celebration - and it is sure to be a feast.

The Chamber will offer a light breakfast and lunch in three waves on Thursday. The event is open to the public.

Chamber President Melanie Minter said eateries from Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Watertown will be present to offer folks a taste of their fare.

"We're really excited about the event. The weather is going to be 67 degrees, so we'll have tables set up outside and over 30 restaurants participating," she said. "It is just a time to highlight our restaurants and say thank you to the community. We are going to make it a lot of fun."

Last year's event welcomed 400 guests to the Cchamber office on the Lebanon Public Square throughout the day. "It is something that the community looks forward to," Minter added.

Preparation began in January with calls and emails to local restaurants. Minter said the chamber staff will begin setting up on Wednesday evening and finish early Thursday morning.

A "light breakfast" provided by Chick-fil-A and Donut Time will be available at 8 a.m. Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again after 2 p.m.
