Mr. Hartman, 89, of Lebanon died Nov. 29, 2013 at Lebanon Health and Rehab. Born in Davidson County, he was the son of the late Roy Lee and Willie Anderson Hartman. An electrician and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, Mr. Hartman was a member of Fairview Church.

Visitation Monday 2-7 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Ligon & Bobo, with Bro. Jon Akin officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 65 years, Betty White Hartman; children Pamela Jean (Steve) Shepherd, Charles H. (Genny) Hartman II, Cynthia Kay (Michael) McKee; grandchildren  Matt (Martha) Shepherd, Andrew Shepherd, Heather (Brent) Ausbrooks, Amber (Derrick) Jackson, Paige (J.D.) Williams, Brooke McKee; great-grandchildren: Jake, Caden, and Evan Ausbrooks, William and Savannah Jackson, Emma Kate Shepherd; brothers: Thomas Eugene and Billy Hartman.

He was preceded in death by sister Frances Beasley; brothers Roy Battle and Claude Edward Hartman.  
Honorary pallbearers: Adult Senior Men of Fairview, Byrd Robertson. Active pallbearers: Steve Shepherd, Mike McKee, J.D. Williams, Brent Ausbrooks, Derrick Jackson, Dan Brawner, Andrew and Matt Shepherd.  

Arrangements are in the care of Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, Lebanon.
