Charlie Daniels to speak at MJ Veterans Breakfast

Representatives of the Mt. Juliet Breakfast Rotary Club recently announced that country music legend Charlie Daniels will serve as the featured speaker at the organization's annual Veterans Breakfast, scheduled for Monday, Nov. 9.

Known for his patriotism and support for the nation's military, Daniels gave an inspiring message about America at the 2014 event. A group of soldiers in the Wounded Warrior Project from the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell will be special guests at the event. Patriotic music will be provided by the Mt. Juliet High School chorus and strings.

The breakfast is free of charge for veterans and their spouses as well as members of the community. The Mt. Juliet Breakfast Rotary Club hosts the annual event to show appreciation and support for veterans and active duty service men and women. The breakfast will be held at 7 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, at Victory Baptist Church, located at 1777 Tate Lane in Mt. Juliet.
