Throughout April, The CAC Facebook Page will be sharing tips and links for parents on internet safety, links to games and activities to educate children, and general awareness facts to encourage prevention.

The goal of the campaign is for 200 people to donate $10 each by April 30. The donations will be collected through FundRazr, an online application for raising money through social media.

You can help victims of abuse while you are checking in with your friends on Facebook. It only takes a minute and $10, but the results as you share with friends can make a very big impact, said Deb Daugherty, executive director.

The 15th Judicial District Child Advocacy center provides a child-friendly environment for victims of abuse to tell their story. The setting allows a multi-disciplinary team to meet and make decisions regarding the investigation and prosecution of each childs individual case, as well as specific needs for the child.

The Child Advocacy Center also provides community education to raise awareness about child abuse prevention.
