The City of Lebanon and American Legion Post 15 will host a Patriot Day Commemoration on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center.

The event will open at 4 p.m., followed by a Veterans 5K at 5 p.m. Live music, food, a classic car cruise-in and pony rides will also be available, with the fireworks display to begin at 8 p.m.

Lebanon Mayor Philip Craighead said Patriot Day gives the community an opportunity to recognize how Americans have preserved following the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 and honor our fallen heroes.
