Bomb threat forces 1 hour evacuation
LEBANON -- Officials with the Lebanon Special School District ordered the evacuation of Winfree Bryant Middle School Friday morning, Aug. 14 after the school received a threat.

Scott Benson, director of the LSSD, confirmed the school had received a suspicious phone call.

Students and faculty walked next door to College Hills Church of Christ until the building could be searched.

Once the building was checked, the all clear was given and students returned around 12:30 p.m.

At 12:38 p.m. Benson confirmed classes had resumed.

Several other Middle Tennessee middle schools have reported similar threats.
