Coble Singers says thanks for Christmas Dinner Show support

  Email   Print

To the Editor:

The 22nd annual presentation of “The Christmas Dinner Shows” by The Bert Coble Singers was attended by 150 guests each night on Dec. 17-18. Though our attendance was down this year, our meals were excellent and the shows were outstanding.

The 35 singers began their rehearsals in September and practiced each Tuesday evening until production of the shows in December. We wish to thank the following for their sponsorship: Pinnacle Bank, Cumberland University, West Hills Baptist Church, College Hills Church of Christ and the Nashville Piano Rescue.

We especially want to thank the many wonderful people who have supported the Shows each year with their attendance. Though we have not kept strict records until the past few years, we have presented close to $150,000 to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and the Bert Coble Music Scholarship at Cumberland University.

So, thanks to all of you for your support.
