Ongoing construction as part of the Square Safety Project will see the Lebanon Public Square closed tonight from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Saturday. According to the City of Lebanon, the area includes Main Street from College Street to the railroad tracks just past Maple Street and Cumberland Street from Gay Street to Market Street.

Motorists are advised to watch for construction workers in the area.

Next week, from Tuesday, June 16 through Friday, June 19, there will be alternating lane closures on Hwy. 109 for milling and paving operations. A statement issued by the Tennessee Department of Transportation noted the resurfacing work will extend from Hwy. 109 from north of S.R. 24 to the Cumberland River Bridge.
