A woman was robbed while in the drive-thru lane at First Tennessee Bank on West Main Street in Lebanon about 6:20 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 21.
Lebanon Police Chief Scott Bowen said the victim told officers she was there waiting to make a night deposit for her employer when an unknown black male approached her and demanded her cell phone and money.
She handed over her phone and the money bag, and the suspect then fled toward a vehicle that was waiting for him.
Witnesses reported seeing the suspect get into a newer model black truck, possibly a Chevrolet or GMC extended cab with dual exhaust, and head north on North Greenwood. The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and a black mask.
If you have any information about this incident, called LPD at 444-2323.
