Council sets special meeting Thursday

Lebanon City Council is to consider its proposed 2014-2015 budget on second reading during a special called meeting to be held at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, May 22, in the Town Meeting Hall, City of Lebanon Administration Building at Castle Heights.

Council will also consider on second reading:

  • An ordinance to authorize the agreement to pay the Tennessee Liquor Tax with the Wilson County Board of Education for the payment of taxes from the sale of liquor by the drink from July 1, 1999 through September 2013 in 10 equal payments of $81,121,52 for a total of $811,215.25

  • Approve the contract with Tennessee Department of Safety for the Lebanon Square Safety Project

  • Approve bids to replace the roof on the Public Safety Building

  • Authorize Line Item Transfers for the Garage, Street and Sanitation Departments

  • Approve a Water Purchase Contract with the Water and Wastewater Authority of Wilson County.
