Also on the councils agenda were two ordinances that are part of the Hamilton Springs transit-oriented development. Both ordinances were to authorize a Hold Harmless Agreement, for placement of landscaping, paving and a sign in the public right-of-way.
If approved, Horn Springs Group, LLC, which owns the land where the development is to be located, would build and install all landscaping and signage at its own expense and be responsible for maintenance and repair.
The council is to hold a work session today in order to discuss the language of an amendment being sent to the Tennessee General Assembly, asking for changes to state laws relative to the proposed entertainment district and events center.
The work session is to be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall in the City of Lebanon Administration Building at 200 N. Castle Heights Ave.
