Wilson County Schools announced this week that there will be no regular classes on Monday, May 22.
Teachers will participate in professional development on that day, and students will not need to report to school, according to Wilson County Schools spokesperson Jennifer Johnson. The calendar change will not impact any graduation ceremonies, and any exams that were previously scheduled for May 22 will be rescheduled, she added.
Kids Club locations will be open for a full day on May 22, and appropriate fees will be assessed. May 23 and 24 will be regular school days as previously planned, Johnson added.
