CU baseball sets alumni event

LEBANON -- Cumberland University's baseball team will host its biannual Alumni Game on Homecoming weekend, Saturday, Oct. 25 -- weather permitting. A breakfast is planned at the Benton Jennings Indoor Facility at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Alumni Game at 10 a.m.

Any former player, from either the junior college or four-year school days, who is interested in attending should email head coach Woody Hunt the following information to by Monday, Oct. 20:

and the number of people who will be attending.

Pancake breakfast & garage Sale
The Cumberland baseball team will hold its annual Pancake Breakfast and Garage Sale on the CU campus from 6 a.m. until Noon on Saturday, Nov. 1.

The public is invited to the pancake breakfast at Phillips Dining Hall from 6-10 a.m. Cost is $5 per person and includes pancakes, bacon and sausage, and juice or coffee.

The garage sale runs at 6 a.m. until Noon at the Benton Jennings Hitting Facility. A variety of items, including couches (yes, several couches) along with uniforms and equipment, will be on sale.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Bulldog baseball program.
