Honorable mention All-America --
Cumberland junior Diondrey Holt, Jr., earned Honorable Mention All-America accolades Thursday, as announced by the national office.

Players were selected by the NAIA-Men's Basketball Coaches Association All-America Committee.

The Louisville, Ky., native posted 18.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.96 assists per game this season, netting 20-plus points in 11 contests, including a season-best 33 points in January versus Lindsey Wilson.

He collected 20-plus in five of the last seven outings of the year, recording 26 at the University of Pikeville and 29 in the home finale against Shawnee State.

Holt, Jr., ranked second in the Mid-South Conference in scoring, behind only NAIA Player of the Year Dalarian Williams from Life University, and ranked 23rd nationally in scoring per game.

He averaged 21.1 points while shooting 46 percent from the field starting January 7 at Fisk University.

He also connected on 41 percent of his 3-pointers in the final 14 games of the year compared to just 24 percent in the first 17 percent in the first 13 outings of the season.
