CU Football Coaches Show returns Wednesday, Aug. 31

The Cumberland Football Coaches Show returns for another year starting August 31 and running through the end of the season.

Tommy Bryan, who handles play-by-play duties for all Bulldog football broadcasts, will host the 60-minute show inside the Mitchell Student Center on the CU campus.

Bryan will interview Cumberland head coach Dewayne Alexander about the previous weeks contest as well as the upcoming game for the Bulldogs.

The show runs from 6:30-7:30 p.m. starting August 31 until November 9 inside the Mondos Subs and Papa Johns in the Bulldog Bistro. All of the coaches shows may be heard on 98.9 FM WANT and on the web at

Two Wilson County high school football coaches will join the show as well for the 11-week program, with the second half-hour split into two 15-minute segments with those coaches from Watertown, Mt. Juliet, Lebanon, Wilson Central, Friendship Christian and Mt. Juliet Christian.
