CU frosh earns MCS tennis award

Borrero defeated Bethels (Tenn.) Paolo Vecchi, 6-3, 6-3 at No. 3 singles and he and doubles partner Andres Burgos won 8-4 against Vecchi and Nikola Slavika in the second-seeded doubles match. CU defeated the No. 10-ranked Wildcats 7-2.

Against No. 17 Campbellsville, Borrero won 7-5, 6-4, against Sebastian Marot at No. 2 singles to improve to 9-2 in singles play this season.

He and Sebastian Nava posted an 8-2 win over Pontus Blum and Alejandro Soriano in No. 2 doubles.
